“...how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?”
it's the same old drama, same old scene
the nightmare never stops,no matter how hard we scream

a grand total of 37, 508, 686 died during world war one.
in the muds of some distant plain, man kills man, again and again

There were 55,014,000 casualties during world war two.
and even in peace the same hideous scenes keep flashing across our global screens
Then there was Afghanistan.
And then there was Iraq.
And next?
Iran?
Korea?
We are capable of composing music to make angels weep, of writing plays to make audiences laugh, poetry to steal the breath from our lungs and still man's madness continues.....

...with an alarming regularity, the brutal nature of man surfaces with a violence that is both random and terrifying and ultimately depressing. how can any priest, cleric or holy man explain away this utter and total blasphemy?
one life.
one heart.
one kind.
one world.

Pictured here are heinous crimes perpetrated by the hands of manmade ‘god-governments’ that spring up out of the cold greedy hearts of humans.
It is the choice of humans that make life a rubble. Epic moments of selfish choices and tantrums that issue from the darkest places in souls are the reasons for this non-healing scab upon our earth. No matter how loudly a god’s name it is shouted before the blows of death in a battle, it does not make the battle holy.
Humans have been – for many, many years – blind victims to the slightness of hand by manmade ‘god-governments’, whether political or religious. Those governments pretend to give us a sort of freedom by offering the right to vote on what would make life better. However, that freedom of choice is through the guise of their ungodly discernment. When the vote is won, we sit back and watch in horror as the prize is claimed at any cost. We are spat upon and asked by the manmade ‘god-governments’, “Where was your God when all of this madness was about?” The answer that we should give is that, there is a life cycle to all choices, good or bad, and that there is no way to intervene once they have been put into play. This is not about an ethereal matter of goodness. Sadly, many horrible choices played out before us are willed by humans against humans. And because of that ignorance, those placating to the hunger of manmade ‘god-governments’ eradicate a God of reason at will.
It would do us well to research before voting on monumental choices. There has always been a personal danger in acquiring knowledge though. Knowledge leads to responsibility and no longer would we be categorized as blind victims….Vish
Hey princess,
Deeply impactful. A disgrace even to the demigods. I've seen the picture of Donald Rumsfield shaking hands with Saddam Hussein in 1983. The hypocrisy! "You go to war with the army you have" He signs the letters written to the parents of the fallen soldiers with an automated device. The letter outlining how containment of Iraq should take place, in 1999, the world trade towers falling and the innocent bodies run over by tanks, the gurgling voice of a man who's throat has been pierced by a knife, new suicide-bombers silently blowing up thousands of miles away. They still use mortar bombs in Iraq "to kill terrorists" but what about the other half of the bombs that get buried in the soil, for another day. There are still children in Nicaragua carving pieces of wood to replace the spaces where their legs were. If we lived for just today, would we want it like this?
We're like idiots, marching in our sleep.
The distressing fact is that, people who have recognized this atrociousness are evidently outnumbered ... and so the criminal brutishness is running our global village. The madmen are NOT in the asylum but are managing the madhouse.
However, the last picture is gross and disturbing. Could have done without that....Jess
Sadly, the only thing that history teaches us is that nobody learns from history....
and the killing continues...
someday the celestial waters will cleanse....or so one hopes. All these wars and all the crimes humans are capable of, and commit, it sometimes feels like we are the lowest life forms in the world. We are meant to be angels and yet behave like devils. I looked at these photos several times and had to sober my soul up to actually stay long enough to read this. Your line "We are capable of composing music to make angels weep...etc, etc, " accompanied by that poor “headless or headed” soul, totally blows me away!..... Omie

thanx for those high-funda remarks. while posting this piece I never thought, it would evoke such comments.
